More Covid Confusion From Downing Street

Following the DWP Secretary State’s latest comments on Covid restrictions, Downing Street have created more confusion.

Thérèse Coffey suggested that people must avoid “snogging” during Christmas, which resulted in Boris Johnson’s office publicly denying the advice.

Whilst this is not a legal regulation, it has angered many in the country as it reminds them of last winter’s mix and match rules such as being forced to eat scotch eggs with a drink, or only inviting 5 friends out with a 10pm curfew.

The British public overall accepted broader policies such as temporary lockdowns, but have consistently rejected illogical nanny state measures.
