Following the recent defence agreement between UK, US, and Australia, the EU’s unelected bosses have decided to accelerate their new friendship with the communist party in China.
According to City AM, the EU aims to boost economic and political growth by taking advantage of the opportunities in Asia.
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said, “our strategy is one of co-operation, not confrontation. I think it’s important to stress this sentence: our strategy is built on the will to co-operate, not to confront it.
“On many areas such as climate and biodiversity, China’s co-operation is essential.’
This move comes as French President Macron confirms the cancellation of a Defence Ministers’ meeting with the UK that was scheduled for this week.
